The UV disinfection process is a quick physical method that mutates and degrades the DNA of microbes and bacteria, rendering them harmless and unable to function or reproduce. As the water flows through the stainless steel UV reactor chamber, the microbes receive a lethal dose of UV light, effectively reducing bacteria and microbes by 99.99%.

The HQUA UV Water Purifier is easy to assemble and install, with no need for chemical supplements. The main components include the UV reactor chamber, UV lamp, quartz sleeve, and electronic ballast. The quartz sleeve provides high UV light transmittance, while the electronic ballast connects the UV lamp to the power source and acts as a system controller.

To ensure optimal performance, it is important to maintain the system properly. The UV lamp should be replaced annually (or biennially for seasonal use), and the quartz sleeve should be cleaned every 6-12 months, with replacement every 2 years. The system is designed for vertical or horizontal installation, with various flow rate and wattage options available to suit different water treatment needs.
