Basic plumbing skills are required for installation. If you are unsure of your abilities to install the system using these instructions, please hire a qualified plumber. Shut off the water supply to the house, locate the water line point of entry, and determine the installation location. Ensure ample room for access during future filter changes and mount the system if possible to provide extra support. The Bluonics whole house water filter housing is designed to fit standard size filters and provide security and ease of use with a high-quality O-ring to seal the system properly.

The large capacity Bluonics housing is suitable for high-flow applications such as well water, commercial, and industrial filtration. The unique white cap is made of high-quality polypropylene (HFPP) for durability and high performance. Note that the clear housing material is not as strong as the solid blue color housing, and the suggested working pressure for the clear version is under 50 PSI. The 1" MNTP inlet/outlet and 10"x4.5" filter cartridges have minimum impact on water flow, allowing the large capacity housing to handle high-flow applications.

The 4.5" housing allows you to easily see when it's time to change the filters. It fits all standard sized 4.5 x 10 inch industry whole house cartridges. A bypass configuration is recommended during installation, as it makes the filter change process much easier, without having to shut off the water to the entire house.

The red button on top is for releasing the pressure in the housing to simplify the filter change process. All systems come with a wrench and wall bracket. Mount the housing to the bracket prior to installing it on the wall. Bluonics Triple housings are pre-assembled.

The inlet plumbing will be attached to the "IN" port on the system, and the outlet plumbing from the filter system will be connected to the "OUT" port. A bypass pipe and shutoff valve are highly recommended in any installation setting.
